Yeah, I'm guessing Bruce would be out here before Selsky or Waldrop.

I'm a little surprised that Peraza or Schebler wasn't brought back for CF depth.

Yeah that's a good point. Probably don't wanna mess with what either has going on at the moment I guess.

Waldrop also has seen some time at first. That's what I guess he's going to end up being for a few years is a LH backup OFer and 1st baseman. If he sticks at all in the majors.

Stays in the rotation. The promotions might be delayed, or they might be piggybacked so their innings can be limited.

But these things usually have a way of working themselves out.

Straily was rolling until a walk (very close) and a double with two outs in the 4th. Now another walk, though possibly a pitch around, to Muncy. Bases loaded.

Holt has been a nice surprise. I liked his minor league numbers but I wasn't sure if he would be able to hit coming off the bench cold to stick despite his solid D and base running.

MLB.TV is blacked out due to playing a bay area team. The A's announcers are recapping the mythical history of the Reds including their 1869 beginnings and the 1919 scandal.

The Fioptics booth makes no sense to me. Why would someone pay real money for tickets to the game, only to watch it on TV?

Definitely, trying to get people to check out new attractions. This year is giga-bites, I think last year was the craft beer/taprooms. Of course the best way to get people to want to come...nm. ;)

I did too. I liked Macho Man and Ric Flair. My tag team was the Hart Foundation Hated Hogan and Ultimate Warrior. Always wanted both of them to lose every time. Of course they never did.

Yeah, hunter is to green what navy is to blue. I would have worn the gray jerseys if I were them. But if I were the Reds I would have worn all white today.

Yonder Alonso has given up on being a productive MLB player and instead has made it his mission simply to terrorize the team that drafted him for as long as he can.

That was just a single though, and Straily works around it. 6 innings of 1 run ball by the righty in his usual solid start.

The Hart Foundation was good, also liked the work Jimmy Hart did as their manager. (Though my favorite manager was Bobby "the Brain" Heenan.)

I liked the initial NWO. I thought Hogan as a heel was awesome. Then of course it became like 30 guys and it and WCW both went into the crapoer.

My 90's guys were Austin (of course) and HBK. Both were awesome.

I've always appreciated strong mic skills. (Obviously, as my favorites include Savage, Flair, and the Brain.) So I also liked Austin and the Rock from the "Attitude Era" of the WWF.

Yes. He gave up one run in the first inning, then settled in to shut the A's down.

I was thinking this as well, but Alonso did hit a grand slam against Cingrani last year (the infamous "Cingrani tried to give Price the ball" game).

I wonder how good this team can really this year. Horrendous start aside with a healthy rotation (and defacto better bullpen because of it) I'm thinking we'll see a pretty significant increase in our results.

Either way some great games to watch lately. :)

Tyler Holt will get the bulk of the playing time in Hamilton's absence, with Steve Selsky as backup in center field.
