So I'm assuming that Hamilton failed his concussion test? George and Chris were speculating that Billy would be back for today's game.

The said on the radio last night that Billy would probably still be out today, just to give him an extra day to recover.

I never like resting players when they're hot so I don't like sitting Bruce. I do like Waldrop getting AB's though.

Would have like to see Peraza in lead off again instead of Cozart

The game is on FSO. It wasn't originally scheduled but was added after an earlier rainout. It also is on some markets through the MLB Network. I hope its on in my area.

"Hot" may have something to do with it. The weather on this Southern road trip (Atlanta, Houston, and Dallas) is oppressively hot, with temperatures expected to be over 90° every single day. It is important to use the bench and give the regulars some rest, especially since last night's game ended only 12 hours ago.

His walk rate is also up however. I think the increase in k's is a reflection of the organization trying to get him to be deeper in counts and while this leads to more walks, it also increases the k's.

Huge question, I know, but which of the 8 positions does it like like we will "Start" at least an average NL player (as far as WAR goes) for 2018 "AND" 2019?

In addition, how many Pitchers does it look like we'll have in 2018 "AND" 2019, who will also be at least average in WAR for that year.

If anyone feels like giving an opinion on this, I would appreciate it.

Game over and the mighty Reds go down again. On to Texas. That will be an easy series.

Watching this series has made my eyes bleed. A split with Atlanta is a losing series.
