#reds lineup:
Cozart 6,
Hamilton 8,
Phillips 4,
Bruce 9,
Duvall 3,
Suarez 5,
Waldrop DH,
Peraza 7,
Barnhart 2, ....
DeSclafani 1

Mark Sheldon ‏@m_sheldon 7m7 minutes ago

Iglesias activated from DL; Wood on paternity list #reds

Odd no Votto, even as DH. EDIT: VOTTO HAS A BUG
Duvall at 1st
Peraza in LF.
Could be an interesting game to watch.

Hey it is Yearbook night tonight in this week's ballpark in Arlington. Get their early as the first 15000 fans get a Rangers' yearbook and the rights to design the Rangers ballpark for the 2018 season.

Ron Madden

I believe both Bruce and Duvall should be hitting in front of Phillips for awhile.

Not very many teams would have a guy with a slash line of .258/.294/.689 hitting 3rd. Or 4th every night.

In the abstract I would have gone with something like this:

Peraza 7,
Hamilton 8,
Bruce 9,
Duvall 3,
Cozart 6,
Phillips 4,
Suarez 5,
Waldrop DH,
Barnhart 2

Whoa, did Price come up with this lineup by throwing darts at a list of players and positions?

Duvall at 1B? Peraza in left? Waldrop the DH (lol)?

Wonderful Monds
06-21-2016, 04:37 PM
Well, on the experimentally interesting side of the coin, it'll be fun to watch literally any ball hit to the left of RCF in the OF automatically turned into an out

If you're sitting Votto and putting Literally Whoever at first, I'd just as soon play Peraza or Duvall in RF and have an amazing OF defense, and stick Bruce at 1B again for kicks. Or just DH Bruce, sit Waldrop, and put The Jesus at 1B again, that was pretty funny too.

After the all star break Phillips needs benched. His ego couldn't take that. So i think he would be willing to accept a trade. Maybe get a couple low level prospects for him at best. I would bench him now. I know they won't ever bench him. He is just hindering the rebuilt.

Not sure I get all the griping about the lineup tonight. Joey isn't available, and there aren't a whole lot of options when you only have a five-man bench (four-man, when you have to account for the DH).
