Those are some dark gray uniforms for the Snakes.

Goldschmidt groundout advances Bourn to 3rd
Lamb walks and steals 2nd
Castillo sac fly scores Bourn and moves Lamb to 3rd
Drury flyout to CF ends the inning.

Well, that's exactly what you want from a leadoff hitter.

Billy lines a single up the middle on the first pitch.

Ron Madden

Billy with some slick hand movement looked safe at 2B

Reds Challenge and the call is Safe!

Big Klu

Hamilton caught stealing, but it's under review.

The throw beat him there, but he pulled away his left hand and slipped in his right around the tag.

Ruling: Safe!

OK, according to Piecoro, the Reds are wearing red tonight because Straily requested it.

I wonder if he will request it for road games, too.

Iglesias is devastating out of the pen. Still think I'd try to get him starting next year if possible. And if he is pen bound, I hope they don't limit him to strictly save situations.

Piecoro said earlier in the game that they are wearing the red jerseys tonight because Straily requested it. (He has had more success this season wearing red than wearing white.)

If he keeps pitching like he did tonight, then he should request wearing them on the road, too!

Seems like they just use him as the relief ace. I'm sure if they wanted to use him purely as a closer he would be the pick. But man, they have used him 2 innings multiple times lately and he's just money. Until we get better guys we might just see more results as you stated. Hand the ball over after 30 pitches and just hope for the best.
