Not turning against him, but he has been below average defensively.

He should have a better chance than Edwin of being acceptable defensively, as he has demonstrated that he can play at the major-league level at SS (albeit erratically).

SF should just offer the farm for Bruce this instant so the Dodgers can't get him, and he can keep hitting here.

The thing about Giants farmhands is that they almost to a man come up and contribute. Giants never call up players who aren't ready for the bigs. Even this year, Trevor Brown is on the bench but contributing when he plays. Pena is. Suarez the pitcher is contributing. Williamson is OPSing near .800 most of the season. Their prospects almost never make the top 20 on lists, but always are ready to go in the bigs.

Contrast that with the Reds, who I almost guarantee would at least have Arroyo and Bickford up right now.

Belt has in the neighborhood of 15 hits in his last 45 PAs vs Reds, just owning them in last 2 years

Predictably, Price goes with "dah closer" despite Iggy dealing.

"Iglesias can't pitch more than two innings."

Billy's RBI on the suicide squeeze single was a big insurance run.

As much as I want to see Bryan Price forever gone. I just love to see the Reds win. I cannot root against them and I root for every win. Of course, it's temporary, but it's nice.

I'd still rather have the draft pick all things considered

But I'm never unhappy about watching the Reds win.

What a fun game, and a nice road win against a quality team.

If there were ever a time that such a win was needed/welcomed, it's today, following the off-the-field event that spawned an, as of now, 26 page thread

I guess I'm the Neanderthal in today's world, but draft picks do absolutely nothing for me. Zero. Nada.

Reds have improved to only the 4th worst record in baseball. For those of you wanting that number one pick its looking dim now. I'm happy they are playing better. I didn't see the game last night but was very happy they won. I hope they keep it up and maybe MLB will decide to do a retro year for 1981. :)

He's actually been pitching instead of trying to throw 100 mph
