Shocking news coming out. John Saunders has passed away at the age of 61. No reason yet has been given for his passing.

When I saw this at first I thought it was probably John Sanders, who seems to be a little older. Yeah, this is a surprise. Too close to my age, too.

Sad. Solid announcer, well respected.

He had multiple health issues, including diabetes and heart problems; but as of yet, no determination as to the cause of death.

I had read that he died from heart failure. If I can find that link again I will post it.


Here's the link to what I had found. It does say apparent cause of death so nothing official. There is also a TMZ report within that saying there had been no official cause released. Probably won't be either. Good reasoning would say he died of heart problems because of his diabetes.

He struggled with depression too.
