Phillips back. What's wrong with Duvall? This is Bailey home debut for 2016.

He's been great and the quicker step on defense tonight was refreshing.

That being said....how bad is your organization/scouts/management to keep throwing him waist high fastballs on the outer portion? He owns that pitch and has forever.

Reds should be near full strength tomorrow.
Hopefully with another day of treatment Duval can go.
However, with Straily going tomorrow Reds may try to get him another day of rest off that foot.
So proud of how this team has played since break.
We have been beating all comers.
Anyone know where 18-12 stands post ASG in the majors?
Im guessing top 5.

Interesting how a 35-year-old former star 2B is rejuvenated after getting a few days off. If he were to get more regular rest, it is very possible that could be more productive.

Too bad this isn't 1981.

Except for the one long inning Bailey looked pretty good. This year is just to shake off the rust. Hopefully next season all of that rust will be gone and he can be the ace this team needs. Josh Smith really hasn't done too bad for a long reliever. But I wouldn't have him in any other spot. Go for another series win tonight.
