No Cozart, No Duvall, No Barnhart. Probably means we will score 12 runs tonight.

Still cannot understand why Holt is getting this PT. All he does is strike out. I'd much rather see Waldrop get some ABs. Atleast if he connects, it has a chance to go over the wall.

Yeah, the Reds' wasting PAs on Holt makes me sad.

Greetings from sect. 111.
Holt went over and shook hands with the 3b ump pre game and schmoozed him up.

Why are the Reds wearing red?
Dan Straily likes the red jerseys. (He has a good record when wearing them.) It's a superstition thing.

Seems to be working, nice inning for Straily w/ 2K's, 3 through 2 innings.

Straily is flat out dealing tonight. Changeup is beautiful, slider not hanging(so far..).
Roy Tucker

Straily is a pitcher. Changes speeds, angles, location.
Fernandez on the other hand throws noticeable heat.

Tonight is the observation of the end of my 64th year of walking this planet under an August moon at GABP.
Celebrating at the Reds game with a couple cold beers, a hot dog, and bag of peanuts and the good and patient Mrs. Tucker, spouse of 31 years.
I might just have another beer.

I think Jumbo's time with the Reds is about done. When they can't use Lorenzen and Inglesias, it's the soft white underbelly of the Reds bullpen.

This was the third straight start by Dan Straily where he hasn't walked a batter, and he has walked just two over his last 5 starts (31 innings).
Great to see.
Only one game behind those pesky Brewers! LOL

I thought Straily was a good pickup this spring but he has been much better than I ever thought. I thought he would be a good middle reliever with spot starts. So far he has been very good. Doesn't ever go deep into games but gives a solid six innings most nights. Fourth place is in sight and on a clear day third place is in sight.
