Peraza 6,
Suarez 5,
Votto 3,
Duvall 7,
Phillips 4,
Schebler 9,
Holt 8,
Barnhart 2,
Sampson 1

Between Joseph Daniel, Sampson, De Jesus, and Abel, I expect the Reds to go Biblical on the Brewers tonight.

Schebler with a single up the middle with the bases loaded to drive in two.

Tyler Holt bloops one to right to make it 3-0 Redlegs

The Mighty Sampson strikes out the side in the 2nd.

Sampson K's the side, and all THom can talk about is "his" golf team that he doesn't even golf with.

Peraza with two strikeouts swinging so far, pretty uncharacteristic. Wonder if the finger injury from Saturday is effecting him.

5 strikeouts for Sampson in 2.2 innings

What the heck? I'm not watching. What happened with the not-double-play?

Can't quite figure out whether Sampson is good.

And if so, why he doesn't seem to be a serious rotation candidate.

My guess is they will keep him around next year and see what the needs are. As a "long man" type he seems to have more stuff than some of the others.

Latos crushed a homer against the Mets tonight. Quite a shot for a pitcher.

Umpires ruled that DatDude intentionally dropped the ball. (I don't know if I agree.)

Error now too. Think he could use a few days off. Price indicated yesterday that his finger was "multi-colored purples and stiff and sore."

Sampson escapes despite a hit and the error that loaded the bases.

I've never heard of that rule. Infield fly, I.know that one, but that wasn't the situation.

Maybe they decided that it was a good catch. So the batter was out, and the runner returned to 1st. (Still don't agree, though.)

Four scoreless for Sampson.

I think even the Reds FO will realize that a rotation piece is on display tonight. I don't know why it's taken so long. He clearly worked at his best as a starter at AAA this year.

Keyvius looks gassed.

Get out of this, Keyvius.

7 strikeouts through 4.2 innings for Sampson, but he will have to battle here for the third out in the 5th with two on against Ryan Braun.

Walks him, Price going to the bullpen.

Ball 3 was a better pitch than strike 1 per game cast

Keyvius coming out.

Ok, but I don't hold that walk to Braun against Key.

That walk was as much strategic as it was due to fatigue.

Don't let Braun tie the game.

Reds pitch out of bases loaded jam. SOP of late.

4.2, 7K's, 2W's, 89 pitches, 54 strikes. Not great but there are some things to like there. Following his starts the remainder of the season ought to be one of the more interesting things to do re the pitching staff. On the relief side, I hope we get a good look at de los Santos.

Much better outing for Iglesias tonight than last time out.

Who? Did the Reds add some more players?

Suter is ridiculous....looks like a HR derby pitcher....if every pitcher worked like that every night would be a 2 hour game

Btw I love me some Votto....best "batter" I've seen in my Reds 49 years of fandom but he's also a terrible base runner

On pace for 69-93.

Reds need to go 2-17 or better the rest of the season to avoid 100 losses.

Lot of people predicted the Reds would easily crack 100 losses before the season. People always underestimate just how bad you need to be to do that.

I predicted 67-95 but for awhile it looked like we might hit 100 losses.

He was horrible as a starter for us in 2015. Hopefully he's turned a corner.
