Also my neighbor Braves fan and I have a $20 per game bet for the entire season and 2 weeks ago I was up $120-140 but now it's only 50 bucks with a 2 1/2 game lead on the barves

Stunners for all of them.

I know it is old school to rely on BA but if he were to continue to get a hit in every at bat, I think you need to find a way to keep his bat in the lineup.

Btw I think Jim Day is tired....asked Selsky about Psychology instead of Physiology and asked Votto the other night to "take us through that at bat" on a first dong

Still just 2-0 but The Reds are making Wainwright work had. 70 pitches through 3 innings. That bodes well.

An in-house outfield of Duvall, Hamilton, Winker, Schebler and Selsky might be interesting. All controllable and (except Hamilton) pre-arbitration, with lefty hitting, righty hitting, speed, some OBP, some power, some good defenders.

Is Peraza hurt? I can't think of any other reason for Dejesus to be starting...other than Price wants keep Dejesus (5 men LOB) sharp with some at bats, because you know, he still has 6 games left in his Reds career. I really don't want to see Dejesus getting major playing time for the "Priceless" 2017 Reds.

You could see it coming with Stephenson. Good stuff, but when he got into a jam, he didn't trust his stuff and stayed fastball.

Yep -- and he couldn't really get it where he wanted it. I don't know how many times he tried for the glove-side corner and missed. He absolutely has to be able to hit that corner some of the time. And where was the curveball? Looked to me like they may have shelved it last night for some reason. With just the two pitches and without good fastball command, it did seem like he was on borrowed time.

It's clear the big 2 starting prospects have a ways to go yet.
