Starting this one, mostly because it is the 3rd inning and Cody Reed is making his spring debut. Feldman pitched the first two innings.

And a nice easy 3rd inning for Reed.

Six up, six down for Reed. Four groundouts and a couple lineouts to end the inning.

Those sounded less like line-outs and more like weakly hit balls in the air. BHam had to make a good play on the one that ended the inning. Also sounded like Reed was pin-pointing his pitches. If that continues, it portends very well for this club.

Yeah, really positive from Reed today. Good to see. Want a good spring from him for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is his own confidence.

The 12 strikes in 16 pitches is very, very nice to see.

He also hit 98 last spring and never did it again once he got the majors, so, you know, perspective. (He did get close, though)

Stuart Turner had a pinch-hit double today, he's making a good first impression with several hits and a walk so far. But Jake Cave's hot start last year didn't end up getting him a spot so we shall see.
