On TV, so what the heck.... Reds are visitors. Peraza leads off and flies out to RF. Cozart takes fastball to shoulder and trots to first. He did not rub it.

Line up for Reds

1. Peraza 2b
2. Cozart SS
3. Suarez 3b
4. Schebler RF
5. Hererra DH
6. Winker LF
7. Jennnings CF
8. Barnhart C
9. Dixon 1b

Suarez K's on a swinging strike, and Schebler caught looking. Schebler off to slow start this spring.

Finnegan starting for Reds. First batter flies to RF. Second batter flies to deepish CF. Trout lined it hard, but right at LF.

Hererra jumps on first pitch and lines it past 3b. Too hot to handle. Winker (or Winkler as announcers say), lines single to RF. Wild pitch advances both runners.

Both Herrera and Winkers hits sounded great off the bat

Jennings pops weakly to short RF. Runners can't advance. Infield was in and Barnhart grounds a ball into center field to score 2. Angels had weird alignment on right side. 2b was in the hole leaving big gap around base which is where Barnhart hit it. Wild pitch advances Barnhart, and then Dixon hits grounder up middle and it gets thru. 3-0. Peraza then grounds into DP to end inning.

Finnagan gets Maybin on grounder to SS and, Finnegan gets next hitter on swinging K. Then Jeffrey Marte golfs a liner into the berm for a homer. Next guy flies to CF.

Cozart leads off 3rd with weak pop-up to short RF. Suarez flies to CF. Schebler powers triple to just left of center. Herrera tomahawks a ball down 3b line for a double. 4-1. "Winkler" then pops out in foul territory.

In 2 at bats, Herrera has seen 2 pitches.

Hard not to be excited about Dilson at this point. He's not even healthy enough to play the field and he's still mashing.

Finnegan still going in the third. 26 pitches thru 2. First batter lines to CF. 30 pitches. Escobar lines opposite field liner to RF. 33 pitches. Calhoun then homers to RCF . Solid homer. 4-3 Trout up 35 pitches. Trout pops up to SS. 42 pitches. Maybin K's swinging and has 47 pitches.

Jennnings walks on close pitch, and Barnhart hits pitcher with liner who recovers and gets force at 2b. Dixons grounds sharply, runner forced at second and then 2b throws ball away and Dixon goes to second. Peraza flies lazily to RF to end inning.

Iglesias on to pitch the 4th. First hitter grounds out to second. Second hitter grounds to SS. Third hitter grounds quietly to second. Very nice inning for Iglesias.

Cozart leads off the 5th. Angels pitcher is number 90 and had 5.33 ERA last year in minors. Cozart hits soft liner to RF for single. They do not pinch run. Suarez hits pop-up to 2b. Schebler grounds potential dp ball but the 2b boots it and all hands are safe. Herrera looks at first 4 pitches!! Then lines to CF. The Angels announcers have now noticed Winker has no "L" in his name.

Winker grounds ball up middle that gets through and run scores, 5-3. Jennings grounds to SS to end inning.

Wait wait wait. What do you mean on TV? It's not on the broadcast schedule that's on TV. On FSO?

I've got it on mlb.tv -- so I assume local TV not Fox Sports Ohio

Iglesias in again. First batter grounds softly to 3b. 2nd hitter lines to SS. Lazy flyball to CF ends innings. Good work for Iglesias.

It's the Angels broadcast on MLB-TV. Sorry, I watch it on TV....

Barnhart pops up to RF to start 6th. Dixon hits comebacker to pitcher. Peraza flies to right center. That was quick

Substitutions abound (every position). Herget in to pitch the 6th. Herget at first glance looks like someone stole a uniform and is pretending to be a pitcher. First hitter lines to CF. Herget walks Trout. Herget K's Maybin and Trout steals 2b easily. Next batter flies lazily to CF to end inning.

No, when that happens they catch you just before you make it to the mound. Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything.

Why did both teams wear red today? Unacceptable.

The game is on MLB Network now. (kinda a delayed broadcast)

Routt in to pitch the 7th. Gets out of inning with no issues despite error by Vincej.

That hit was positively Dilsonian.

Nice of the Reds to let Fonzie into the game.

(seriously, can someone let the announcers know it's Winker)

Kivlehan having a pretty nice spring. Still think he's best suited as AAA depth for now.

Just realized this really is a delayed broadcast, not just a cut-in. Never mind.

Mahle in to pitch. First time I've seen him. Gives up opposite field liner. Looked ok, got benefit of a bad call at second.

That Tony Renda, so hot right now.

That was a hitters hit right there by Winker. (Hits dirt in front of home plate but finds hole through the infield)

ScotlandRed

Based on previous performance and ST training, Winker becomes a leaf odd hitter with brilliant on base skills and occasional power. At best, 4/5 hole hitting machine with 25+ HR. But he is a pure hitter of a baseball.

The Reds playing the bad news bears today via all the unearned runs they have scored? WOW!
