Arroyo is seriously still in the rotation? I don't blame him, it's Price that keeps playing him. Damn I was looking forward to tonight playing against a team the Reds rarely get to play. Well tomorrow our ace is on the mound.

If he gives up less then 4 homeruns I'll be amazed. That said, hopefully we can hit a bit. Too bad Gausman is starting now. Was looking forward to Ubaldo and Arroyo in the race to 10 runs.

Trouble with Cingrani is that he doesn't have a lot of movement. Hence he doesn't have a "miss" pitch to put guys away. Lots of foul balls and contact.

Exhausting day. Got home at 10:00 and missed most of the game. DVR'd it and watched it in past-time. Bronson was Bronson and Duvall was super on point today. Add to that Joey Votto being Joey Votto and that's the perfect formula for Reds wins. Congrats, first place Reds.

The popular choices might be Duvall, Suarez, or Schebler.

But I have my doubts that the next member of the club is even on the roster. Probably someone in the low minors, another organization, or still an amateur.

Duvall already has 37 in a Reds uni, if he plays full time for the reds through 2018 he should be on the list by the end of next year.

Add Drew Storen to the list, we witnessed history!

He was the 4th Red to do this. "Hot Rod" Hod Eller, Rob Dibble and the great Carlos Contreras were the other three.

Glad to see the old man get a win. He's pitching on fumes but he hung in there for five innings. If he can just give the Reds 5 or six decent innings a start for the next month or two it would help out a lot until a couple more of the youngin's are better ready.

I watched the first five innings. I had to watch the Orioles broadcast since I live in their market. Their announcers were impressed by the Reds at bats. Thought they were all very patient and knew how to work counts.

Reds still in 1st place on April 19th. Let's hope they can just be close by September 19th.

So pleased to see Bronson get another W. Long road back. Most would not choose to take it.

Special pitcher, and a real favorite of mine.

He's always been an artist on the mound, and even if he's working only in watercolors now, there are still those Arroyo-esque flourishes every now and then -- the sidearm slider for a swing and miss., the slow curve for a way-out-in-front pop up. Maybe he puts up a goose egg, lopes toward the dugout and will not go down into it until he's fist bumped or chatted a second with his catcher. For him to be able to come back and do that stuff again, come out on top again as a Red -- very cool.
