Hats off to Adelman. A few shaky moments, but showed great poise to get through 6 solid innings. Fully rested bullpen, with the exception of Iglesias....but I'd imagine he could even come in for a batter or two in a high leverage situation. Now let's see how Price plays his cards.

Yes he would be out. You are entitled to the next base but not past it. The ball is still live, a player could also try to take an extra base on a walk and thus he puts himself at risk of being tagged out of he goes past second ( or whatever base the walk sends him too).

Borbon's arm was made out of rubber I swear. LOL. Loved that guy.

From 1972 through 1977 he pitched over 100 innings. To have a guy like that who was that effective to go with Clay C you really only needed a 4 maybe 5 man bullpen even with those Reds starters not named Gullett or Billingham going 7 to 9 innings. If they had 3 guys who could do this now maybe they could go back to a 5 man bench at least for the long haul.
