The Pirates lineup tonight consists of 5 rookies and to top it off John Jaso is hitting cleanup. Watch out Murderers' Row. The 2017 Pirates are coming for you.

Going up against Feldman. It's resistable force vs. moveable object tonight.

Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll pass each other quietly like two ships in the night.

I'm not sure Cozart likes the 2. Too much pressure to perform? Not as relaxed? Hopefully it's just a bad stretch, but only 1 hit, no BBs and 5 Ks since moving up.

Glasgow should be starting for the Reds with this performance.

In all seriousness, he's a young pitcher with control issues. It happens to other teams just as it happens to the Reds. But these guys will be good eventually.

Putting a struggling pitcher that plays for the Pirates on the mound against the Reds is just mean.

I imagine this is the adjustment period. 22-year-old torched them last year, now they're figuring out how to get him out and Peraza has to make the adjustments. He's not the first player to have a miserable month, I just don't get the impulse by some here to dump these guys (see also: Schebler only a week or so ago, Suarez last season) who haven't even had a full season of ABs as a Red.

Oh no. No dumping here. Have to ride him out as long as possible. I had not clearly noticed how different he was from last year until you showed that. I just wondered if he has yet. But he's not going to become patient all of a sudden either.
