Feldman is 0-9 this season. Best of luck to Barnhart at coming through with a run batted in and to set up the top of the lineup for the next inning.

Would love to see Feldman pitch well enough to stay in the game long enough to go 0-3.

For me it's Cueto and Bruce. Chapman's an odd case. I'm still pissed over the fact the Reds never gave him a real shot at starting. The "couldvebeen" is strong on that one.

For me, he'll always be "Underpants". My daughter (was 5 or so at the time) thought that's what the announcer was saying when they said Hunter Pence. It was kinda said quickly and unclear. From that moment on, that's what I hear everytime. :O)

I'd like Suarez to be the cleanup hitter on a regular basis but I'll takes what I can gets.

Certainly the big change has been pitches seen by Cozart all year, and Billy during his recent run. Cozart leads the majors in P/PA. Stunning.

I like the fact that Billy is seemingly looking at a lot of pitches these days, at least lately, versus Sir Hacks-A-Lot in Peraza.

Giants announcers thought the called third to Votto was a touch in but too close to take on a full count. Also "it's a better game when more strikes are called."

Not enough said about the Reds acquiring Duvall and Schebler - each seemingly as the second player in the trade return.

Both had very similar minor league hitting percentages. Almost uncanny how similar. Both good offensive players AND strong defenders.

Great to see them both participating in the offensive showing.

I'm honestly simply enjoying the way the Reds are playing. I'm not deluding myself into thinking they're contenders this season. Simply not enough starting pitching this year.

Panik, Pence, Belt and Posey are a reasonably good core, assuming Pence hasn't turned into a pumpkin at 34. Bottom of the lineup is a disaster.

I almost feel a little sorry for the Giants. I've always kind of liked them a bit from afar, although any team with Bonds wasn't easy to like. They almost look like a team without a major league lineup or team right now. Even their bullpen, when it seems like almost every team, including the Reds now, have guys all throughout their pen throwing 95-96, their guys seem to throw 92-93 from what I've seen this weekend. Don't know about everyone they have.

They have won 3 WS in 5 years. What's there to feel sorry about? Great tradition going back to NY. Not too bad besides the mid 70s and a few years in the 90s. They are as close as you can be to the Cardinals in regards to success and tradition in the NL.

They have won 3 WS in 5 years. What's there to feel sorry about? Great tradition going back to NY. Not too bad besides the mid 70s and a few years in the 90s. They are as close as you can be to the Cardinals in regards to success and tradition in the NL.

Because they have all of that and now they look utterly futile. It happens. I get that. Whether it's a slump or a need to address some needs on the roster, which would seem to be the case.

Thought they screwed the pooch by not going all in to get Chapman last year. If they had gotten him they probably would have been world champions again. Don't know if they could have matched the Cubs offer to the Yankees, but if they had it, they should have offered it.
