Sweet baserunning! Nothing like giving away precious outs.

Peraza swung a pitch a foot outside and then checked his swing on a pitch about 18 inches outside.

It was a hit and run play. Schebler took off, Peraza has to swing. The pitch was outside, Peraza couldn't reach it, the runner is in trouble at first base. In this case, Schebler tried to get back but slipped.

Not that it would have mattered for the most part but doesn't that park have a short fence down the RF line before jutting out and making RC just ridiculously huge. By the time Bonds got to be HR monster, he would generally pull it pretty dramatically IIRC.

Just looked it up, 309 down RF line but 421 to RC.
