Thanks for the stats. Like I said, he wasn't pitching as poorly as he is now.

But you do point out the game on April 24, when he was clearly left in waaaay too long. I'm guessing that has had an effect on him as well.

When he gives up 9 earned runs in 3 and a third innings. He was left in too long.

Pitching is all about rhythm and staying on a steady throwing schedule. Throw a pitcher off his rhythm and it will show. Literally ask any pitching coach or former pitcher.

He was in a bad rhythm when he was sent down, so shouldn't that mean after the rest he would be pitching well by your flawed logic?

I think the best post about Amir has been by Doug when he pointed out Amir has the worst spin rate in MLB. That has nothing to do with rhythm, rests, or full moons. He throws a straight fastball with no movement. Major leaguers see blood with pitches like that once they adjust. It's not rocket science.

Dress codes...lol....if Mike Trout wanted to wear sandals, a wife beater, and a pair of cut off shorts who the heck cares....I hate PC America

Wouldn't a dress code be the opposite of PC, wouldn't it be authortarian/conservative?

Who the heck cares what you wear = liberal, no?

Think its time to call up one of those flashy AA relievers, or maybe Shackelford, and have auditions to supplant Storen as the fourth reliever.
