I used to know a woman who was a substitute teacher. She'd always say she just needed to be one chapter ahead of the students no matter what subject she taught.

For 29 teams each year, it's all about sitting back and enjoying the ride. I, for one, have greatly enjoyed Reds baseball this year. We have three hitters combining for 43 home runs on May 31st. We have Zach Cozart hitting .350. We have a man running loose on the bases. And we have a good bullpen again. I don't expect us to win a lot of games. Simulate this season 1000x with our roster and we probably wouldn't make the playoffs once. Please, lower expectations and try to enjoy yourself. Some days they play exciting baseball. And in just a few months, you'll be wishing that you could see them play ball.

None of us want to see the Reds fail.. We want them to do well everybit as much as you do.

I can't speak for everyone here but I've muttered cuss words under my breath many times the past few yrs.
I've also jumped up and cheered with my fist pumping in the air when things go right.

I'm afraid so many Reds Fans do not truly understand the plan the Reds have with this rebuild.
The plan is to turn this organization around, to stop playing for open windows, to be competitive year in and year out.

I read post here sayin the rebuild is over, nothing could be further from the truth. We are progressing but have a long way to go.
To trade prospects for expensive proven vets would defeat the purpose and kill any hope of competing every year.

The Reds have been behind the times all of my life, sure I've seen some good times but they were too few and to far inbetween.
We as Fans of the small markett Reds should be thankful we now have leadership that wants to field a winning club Every Season.

There will be some good times and some bad times in every game and in every season.
Understand that Baseball is hard, enjoy the good times and cheer like hell, suffer the bad times with understanding that these kids are doin the best they can.

Whinin' and *****in' EVERYTIME something goes wrong early (in middle or late) in games makes you sound like a spoiled brat.
