He jumped but the ball was way over his head.

This is false.

Not a great pic of ball but ball is merely inches above his glove and pic shows that he didn't jump.

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170604/cab1e93a45f64bfa9ed39308389dfccb.jpg

If I were attempting to defend him it would be he didn't think he could jump and land on base before runner got there so he tried to maximize his length while keeping foot on bag.

Cozart messed up and his teammate didn't pick him up.

Thinking a lot about something in Fangraphs lately:

Great American Ballpark has entrenched itself as one of the most hitter-friendly parks in the game. Almost 49% of all fly balls hit between 100-105 mph have gone for homers this season. In Cincinnati, 32 of 44 (73%) has gone over the wall. If you hit it good here, it’s as good as gone.

The ball was 3-5 inches above his. He had one foot on the ground which tells you he wasn't trying to jump high at all but trying to reach as high as can without leaving the bag.

He definitely could've caught the ball...we've seen Joey jump high trying to save bad throws before. He decided to try it his way and it didn't work.

2 questions - I'm sure I know the answers but:

1. Why didn't Garrett go to Rehab? Finnegan, Bailey and Disco seem to live there, why is young Amir thrown to the wolves?
2. Why hasn't anyone thrown at Fat Adams yet? If they activate me I'll do it (Of course that 50 mph heater wouldn't leave a mark, but man, I'd do it in a heartbeat).

1. Because Amy Winehouse was his favorite singer?
