I'm impressed, I really am. Up 7-3 and you need a win to avoid a sweep with two innings to go and you get beat. Not too many teams can grad defeat from the jaws of victory but the reds did it.

Nibbles around the light hitting Hernandez and washed up Utley and grooves one to Seager.

Iglesias threw 0 pitches under 85 mph and could not get anyone out....then threw 81, 83, 97, 83 and got Turner looking silly
Iglesias and Mesoraco look terrible together

Iggy was bound to have a bad game but holy crap. I guess he goes big or goes home.
This was due to happen. Iglesias' record was unsustainable this year. Too bad it happened today, but nobody maintains an ERA of 0.57.

Dude with a 7.00 ERA held Reds to 2 hits only other game I saw in person this year. Dude with an 0.57 ERA gives up 6 in other Reds game.
I am banned from any more games this season.

I haven't been able to get too excited over Iglesias' ERA this year due to the walks issue. It finally came back to bite him.

I really hope this is just a blip in the radar for the pen.
I've been waiting on the other shoe to drop for a while. When your starters can't even make it 5 IP most nights you're going to wear your pen out by June, no matter how good they are.
I really hope this isn't the beginning of that.

At least Milwaukee lost.
Still within three.
Miracle.
Bailey and Finnegan to the rescue?

Iglesias had two days' rest, plenty. He hasn't been overworked. Not sure what the starters have to do with it.
Iggy had a bad game. If he's as usual, he pins the game down.
Happens to every team a few times a year.

Well, it was getaway day (for both clubs), so the Joe Nuxhall Star of the Game will be a Red. Scott Schebler was 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run homer vs. his former club today, so he gets the Montgomery Inn gift card.
(Corey Seager wasn't going to get the award two days in a row.)

I think we are starting to see the bullpen wear down from so much use. You knew it was coming since the starters had been so bad. When Iglesias couldn't put away Hernandez I knew the Dodgers would find a way to win it. Also had a feeling Seager would hit one out when he came up. I'm sorry I was right about all that. Buckle down for a long 2nd half of the season.

I watched the game on the Dodger Network. It was nice to hear good, calm conversation between Charley Steiner and Orel Hershiser. Not a bunch of senseless rants about nothing and no excessive and useless criticism about their best player(s). While I would have much rather had heard Vin Scully, these two for the Dodgers are pretty good and much better than anything the Reds put out there in the broadcasting world.

I cannot take anything Hershiser says seriously ever since he explained on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball that Earth's gravity pulls on a curve more than it does a fastball.
Evidently Orel skipped Physics 101 at BGSU.
