Right. But since Barnhart caught yesterday, tonight might have been Mes catching, Winker DH.

Which is no big deal but (as I recall) Price said yesterday that Winker is DHing all these Tampa games. Not sure why that changed.

Garrett's body language tells me he has a hard time when things go against him. He comes back and tries harder, and by doing that he loses focus on technique and skill allowing him to get the batter out. Missed catch? He grooves the next pitch.

I don't care what BS testing was done on the balls this smells like 1987 to me. The ball was jacked up that year. They changed where the ball was manufactured that prior off season. Not sure if that had to do a lot with it but look at the numbers from 1986. Then especially 1987 and 1988. They wanted excitement but now have turned it into a joke.

Also consider that TB as a team is second in MLB in homers. And by now, with this game, they probably are #!.

I'm not too worried about Garrett, he had a good game last time, he just needs some more work.

It's just normal rebuilding aches and pains, as long as these prospects stay healthy most will eventually be all right.

I'm not really concerned about this anymore. I am starting to wonder how Mahle and Castillo will do but hope they will have the better idea of leaving them in AAA until they actually are ready and not think they are ready.

I just hate seeing my favorite sport turned into a joke because of them panicking over the dearth of offense in the early 2010s.

Nobody ever became a major league player in AAA.

I have no objection to more AAA time for any of these guys. Send Garrett back, I don't care.

But every one of them has to take his lumps in the bigs. Nobody just breezes through.

Brandon Finnegan is the highest drafted Reds pitching prospect in the group at AA and above. Yet he had plenty of trouble last year breaking into the big leagues.

The Reds fall to 4-7 on Bowtie Tuesday. (Honestly, I thought it was worse than that.)

Scott Schebler with the Delhi Park softball play trying to throw a guy out at home for no reason. Frustrating.
