Tonight's Joe Nuxhall Star of the Game is Joey Votto, who was 1-for-3 with a HR and 2 RBI's, and collected his 1500th career hit. Votto also passed George Foster for sixth place on the Reds all-time home run list (245 HR's), and was recently named to the NL All-Star team.

Not much upsets me in this season where we are not going to content , but it was almost criminal to put Our starter out there for the 7th. The kid had been really good and then he gets out there to lose a game at nearly 100 pitches. Call me stupid if you want, but wasn't it time to let the kid feel good about an outing left as good and gone to the bullpen. MUbe I'm stupid, but Price left him out there in a game where he had pitched his heart out. It wasn't necessary.
