I'm a talk first think later and chew a lot of tobacco guy. Just kidding. I don't know what they are but maybe for the Reds pitchers mental state? A higher wall. The possibility of even moving that fence back a few feet. Center too by taking out that grass. I mean John Allen and Linders stupidity led to this design. I still hate that the could not have thought things out better. I don't care if it was for Griffey. He didn't need the help when healthy.

I'm not making any judgements on Bailey until after this season is done. No meaningful body of work for 2 years, arm, mechanics and mental aspects have to be affected, colloquially called "rust". I think it'll take most of the rest of this season for Bailey to get back to norms. Full endurance, command, consistency on breaking stuff etc. As long as he stays healthy....I expect the ups and downs

I remember Homer saying after the second no-no that it was special because Dusty was there to see it- Baker was having his health issues and missed the one in Pittsburgh. So I imagine they're sort of close and I suspect Dusty had a few mixed feelings about Homer's performance today.

You would get rejuvenated with Scherzer, Harper, Murphy, Zimmerman, Rendon et al. on your team.

Storen is not going to lose trade value over 1 game at this ballpark against this team. He is still only a middle reliever and is not going to get a bunch back anyways.

I would be interested in seeing the breakdown on how the current RF setup helps vs. harms the Reds.

I may be wrong but I'd say most of the HR's hit in GABP would be HR's in any other park in the league.

I imagine so as well, but there are definitely ones to the front rows of the corners or to dead center that would be outs in other parks.

I guess spending a Sunday afternoon watching the Reds get pounded against a vastly superior team like Washington would seem silly to most, but it's baseball, and that makes it worthwhile. I just wish the team would make a move or moves in the off season to give fans a little hope.

And someone else to be field management.

Shibe Park was 329 ft. down the RF line.

I think you're thinking of Baker Bowl, where the Phillies played until they moved to Shibe Park in 1938.

280 ft. down the RF line and 300 ft. to RCF, but a 60' wall.
