It's a hole in the wall within walking distance from my house in Lakewood. No, it has nothing to do with the Reds.

Hitting 8th in front of the pitcher negates his base stealing. He's either a 1 hole or a 9 hole hitter. Likely 9th in a really good lineup.

That being said, as of right now July 24 2017, he's awful.

They are stuck with him and Davey C was worse in 1971-72. There of course is time for improvement but it's like Reed with his pitching. Some sort of adjustment to his hitting technique needs to be done. Is he afraid to drive the ball? I saw him turn on a pitch in Colorado so it's not like he cannot do it.

Same here. Still seeing them go all out on each play. Reds have 3 pitchers that try to throw as hard as they can all the time, and I don't think any of them will amount to much and will probably be hurt a lot, and I think you lose a lot of command when you go all out on every pitch. Well, just got home. Overall I had a good time. (I was there with friends who are Tribe fans.) It was a very pleasant evening, the food in the club was quite good (actually better than I expected), and I had great seats.

Also, this team isn't very good. I never got the feeling that they gave up, but I got the feeling from the first pitch that they were overmatched.

My friends thought it was funny that the Reds had a DH named "Scooter", then they saw his stats when he came up and said, "Wow!" Then they saw him hit a home run and were very impressed.
