I thought Tucker played that throw much better than he has a couple this year. He just didn't hold on to that great throw that was only part of the great play Billy made. Have the Reds been a good defensive team all season? They've been great in the games I've seen. A lot of solid plays with some terrific ones mixed in.

Yes, the defense has been pretty good this year, especially the outfield defense and the left side of the infield. The catchers have done a pretty good job, too.

That called 3rd strike to Winker was no strike. He was right to take it. If the ump calls that a strike then you have no chance

Everyone's biggest complaint about Price is that he leaves his starters in too long. Now he takes him out with the tying run at the plate and people kill him for that. Why even attempt to be objective if you're going to second guess him all the time? Just wait for his next move and jump on him if it goes wrong.

Not everyone. I rarely mind when he leaves a pitcher in unless it's just ridiculous.

Ten more games with them. That's good for the Reds. It may keep them at just about the 90 loss mark for the season. It's bad for people wanting to see them get the number two pick again next season.

Its amazing how much better you look when you throw strikes. If Stephenson can do that consistently he will probably be just fine as a starter. Let's hope he can find that constistency.
Winker is looking good. I can see him batting in front of Votto for the forseeable future. They could make one whale of an OBP tandem at the front of the lineup.

I honestly dislike Price, but can't fault him for taking BobSteve out when he did.

The AB with the bases loaded came before he crashed into his shoulder, and he probably took him out as a precaution, which is defensible. Who knows what small thing they picked up on in his delivery that indicated that he was pitching with some soreness or something.

Doesn't change the fact that he is a loser and a dumby though...

I think people are getting too down on him. Relievers slump like all other players, it's just more obvious for relief pitcher given how little they play comparatively. There's definitely stuff he needs to improve on, but he still possess above average talent.

Sure...mainly speaking to the calls to move him to the rotation. He has decent stuff, but he isn't exactly knocking the door down in his current role.
