Looked everywhere on DirecTV for a feed and nothing. Anyone know where I might find it?

Brantley was commenting repeatedly about Disco's lack of velocity. Sounded alarmed, but Disco was getting guys out. We'll see soon I'd guess.

Heard that too. Is it close to the dead arm period of spring training?

Barnhart is raking this spring. Just hit his 3rd homerun.

Mahle with 3IP/ 1R/ 1H/ 2K.....I figured Disco's arm would skip the dead arm phase due to being in hibernation for so long...

Seems early for that.

Oliver Perez in for what may be his last appearance as a Red.

Everyone can settle down...it’s being reported the radar gun is not working properly and shouldn’t even be on it’s so off.

Dick Williams tod the radio booth that the radar gun at the park was defective for Disco’s appearances

Marty bring up a good point, that it didn’t seem defective when any other pitcher was pitching.

Intrigue and mystery at the old ballpark.

Perez hits a batter then gives up a home run --- not looking like an option for the bullpen at this point

Marty brought that point up about 5 more times after Williams said that. It was annoying. Brantley finally was like alright, we get it.

IMO, not a coincidence that Profar played the whole game at SS yesterday. There was talk last year and during the offseason that the Rangers and Reds had discussed Profar (for pitching, no doubt). My guess is that yesterday was a continuation of those discussions. It could be that DeSclafani has also been discussed, which would make sense, given the similarity in service time of the two players and the fact both have had significant injury issues.

If true, talk about a knee jerk trade...I'd much rather see Disco pitch half a season to hopefully bring his value back up rather than trade him coming off an injury.

Plus, with the Senzel experiment at SS still seemingly in progress, Profar's value to the Reds is questionable.

I'd be interested in Profar, but he's burned a lot of control time on the DL, still isn't established and hasn't hit much since his return from injury. I'm still a skeptic about Disco's health and think there is a real possibility that UCL tears the rest of the way and wipes out most of 2018 and 2019. Even with those fears, I still think Disco would be an overpay. I'd rather deal some one like Lorenzen and maybe a middling prospect, maybe Strahan or Moss or some one, in a Profar deal. OF course I'd be happy to deal Bailey or Mesoraco for him, but that ain't happening.

Plus Disco has been quite good when healthy, Profar has not been.
