In other news, designed to make us all feel really, really old, Globe Life Park (formerly The Ballpark) at Arlington (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Globe_Life_Park_in_Arlington) will be hosting its 25th season this year. Twenty-five seasons.

I wouldn't mind seeing a lineup similar to that on Opening Day.

Winker leading off?

Yes, please.

Suarez hitting second?

Cool.

Reds go down in first- Winker makes out (not sure what he did), Suarez SOL, Votto SOL.

Just put on the FS Ohio feed, who the heck are these announcers

oh I guess it's just the Rangers announcers?

Mahle getting tagged good, 2 run bomb.

DeShields infield single, Gallo long fly out to left field, DeShields tags, Andrus double off cf wall, Rangers 1-0, Beltre fly out rf, Mazara homers to cf, Rangers 3-0, Choo (remember him?) singles, Odor at bat, pitch in dirt - Mez throws out Choo.

Mahle really needs to get in front of hitters; when he was behind in count is when he got in trouble in the first.

And that ball is definitely juiced.

not saying it's right or wrong, but I can pretty easily see how Mahle would be a little "off" in his last spring start before the real deal....big week for that kid for sure.

I keep getting a log-in screen asking me for an e-mail and password. Do you have to be registered with MLB-TV to see the free preview???

I tried to log in without registering and then a screen showed up registering me. Then I got in.

Gennet singles of the glove of Elvis, Duvall walks, Schebler hits into a fielder's choice, Pereza grounds out Scooter scores, Mez makes out number 3. Rangers 3 Reds 1

Nope, not happening for me. Guess I'll have to watch "The Voice" tonight...

This recapping the game is tough after a long winter, but my fingers have come to spring training in the best shape of their lives.

Strikes Out Looking

Odor out, Rua doubles, Centeno Fielder's choice, Deshields shows Bham how to bunt and ends up on first with a hit, Gallo pops up - Reds 3-1.

Matt Moore in to pitch, K's Billy on awful pitch, Fonzie singles, Suarez singles, Winker steals third (not to Billy -- need to get on first to steal bases), Suarez advances, Joey does what he does best, Scooter triples (Reds up 4-3), The Consigliere K's, Schebler K's as he flails bat to avoid getting hit on full count. Matt Moore looks awful but gets out of inning.

Note - Rangers spring training hats much better than Reds' Spring Training hats.

Hamilton simply looks lost & over-matched every time I see him this Spring.

For the record, I really wish the Reds had put Nomar Mazara near the top of their shopping list (and then actually done some shopping).

Duvall looked a little timid on that play. Choo ties things up with a 2-out double off the wall.

So what’s the deal with MLB.tv?

I get Netflix on my smart tv, no problem. But MLB.TV is all choppy. Is it my WiFi or is mlbtv just too slow?

I'm inclined to give Duvall a pass on the Choo triple. It's a strange ballpark to him and he may not have been sure where the fence was. We for sure don't need anyone freight-training any outfield walls in March...

The Clerk (aka Jose Leclerc) pitching in the top of the 4th gets the Reds 1, 2, 3. Rangers 6 Reds 4.

I agree. But it was evident that he was tiptoeing around the wall on that play.

Quackenbush comes on with 2 outs and nobody on. He allows a single, and then gets a strike out swinging. He reminds of JJ Hoover.

I got a back of the napkin .711 OPS.

Subpar but there are several AB from scrubs, Billy, and Scheb vs a lefty. I wouldn’t expect much higher.
