It'd be great to notch another series win.

I'd love to have a play-by-play announcer who can talk about more than RBIs.

Selfish of Votto not to drive anybody in on that two out double.

Scooter doubles, naturally.

1-0 Redlegs

to be fair, he also talks about Arizona and football and how many RBI Scooter has

I'm praying I was wrong, but in the Harvey thread I had mentioned not letting Harvey pitch against Colorado and instead making his start against Arizona....of course if he manages to go 6 or 7IP today with 3 or less ER today that would add to his shine a bit....

None of the exit-velocity technology is reliable if that CarGo shot doesn't take over the No. 1 slot.

Probably somewhere in between this and what we've seen so far.

Not the first guy to be brutalized at Coors, but every start is important for his immediate future.

I also hate our greenish tinted uniforms. Just wanted to throw that in there.

Blackmon single and now Dahl up again with two outs.

Still 3-1 going to the bottom 4th.

Third time through the order already for Harvey now. Blackmon up with a runner on 3rd and two outs.

Beautiful slider on the corner to get Blackmon looking.

Wolters again, a leadoff single to start the 6th. Probably need a quick hook on Harvey here though they're obviously hoping for the quality start.

A sac bunt to move the runner over, and with Blackmon coming up for the 4th time Riggleman goes to the pen.

Wandy coming in. Not sure that's an improvement.

Wandy in, gives up a single to bring in the run, gets a strikeout, and he's done.

Tanner Rainey coming in.

That seemed a tad predictable. Arenado goes deep on the first pitch from Rainey.

6-1 Rox, and this one is looking bleak.

Shades of the 2014-2017 bullpen today

Tony Cloninger
05-27-2018, 05:26 PM
The bullpen has a bad game in Coors after the starters can barely go 6 in just about every game for the last month or worse. This is surprising?

Forio has been great but he is a pitch to contact guy. This ballpark to me is more prone to giving up hits more than anything due to the spaciousness of it. Rod Carew and Tony Gwynn could hit .400 there in their prime probably.

Tanner looks very hittable though and is definitely learning on the fly. I think it will be a struggle to watch him pitch. He is BP right now for sure.

Marty was a little taken aback by it. Didn't personally go after Suarez, but said it was kind of a problem that this team shows with its focus/intensity from one game to another. He said last night everyone looked like they were dialed in, but today they seemed to be going through the motions.
