BREAKING: Cobb County Police confirm a dead body was found in a freezer at Suntrust Park where the Atlanta Braves play. The deceased person was a third party contractor found by another person who works for that company. It’s under investigation.

Enjoy the game folks.

Dare I mention that anytime an airplane takes off, it's almost certain to have a dead body on it (in the luggage compartment) being transported to wherever it will be buried?

Coming into this series, I saw it as a battle of the two best teams in the NL. It's playing out just like it so far. The 5-4, 11-Inning nailbiter, where it took an 8th-inning rally to get it there, and a close series through every inning so far, shows just how even these two teams are. Had the REDS had the last AB last night, they would have won, as we probably would have seen Iglesias sooner, while the hitters would have had the last say about the outcome.

Seems like in the past few years, the Reds would score and then immediately give up runs, and then just give up.

They keep coming back this year.

I think Billy gets that ball, but the fact that Schebler didn't get to it is not a knock on him. I don't think a normal CF gets to that ball, either. Only Billy and a handful of other elite CF's have a chance at that one.

Yeah, a handful of Braves fans started doing it after Deion (who was also playing for the Falcons) signed with the Braves in 1991, and then it sort of took off when they made their run to the World Series. Of course, the Tomahawk Chop has been a staple for the Florida St. Seminoles for years.

I hope Amir is OK, but I fear the baseball gods will make the Reds pay for not knowing their place and winning so many games.

Why do the baseball gods hate us all so.

Actually a fascinating at bat by Scooter. He got down 0-2 and swung at every pitch (I believe). Fouled them all off before that flare for a single.

Not exactly textbook but it served the purpose.

Middle of the week day game tomorrow, 25 minutes earlier than it would be in Cincy. I hope Castillo has his change-up going early and often. Braves starter is 8-2 with 2.59 ERA, and has four starts this month with 2.22 ERA and 6.1 innings per game, while in May he was 5-0 and averaged 6.4 innings in his wins and had a 1.54 ERA for the month. I hope Suddenlink doesn't let me down tomorrow.

Which would be fairly remarkable after that horrific start, and it would place them roughly where I expected them to be coming into the season. I think I predicted 80 wins.

I think I predicted 80 wins.I didn't expect them to do that well, but I like what I see. Escaping the 90-loss seasons of the Price era would be enough to generate hope.

Sounds like Harvey is getting better and better. Hopefully this increases his value because I doubt the Reds could sign even if they want to. Reds are now 5-1 in this stretch of 11 games playing good teams. I like that and hope it continues. Early game today at 12:10. Two out of three against the Braves would look good.
