Sign of two things: A. Scooter will not be dealt and Reds want to win today.
Plus how could the Reds deal a Hometown Hero who has a four homer game, only one in Reds history, and is leading the NL in BA on 7/8/18? Not since another Hometown Hero in Pete Rose 45 years ago have the Reds had a Batting title winner! Plus the Reds have arbitrational control over Scooter for next season and Senzel is hurt. No brainer, especially if the Reds continue to win big over the next few weeks.

Since then the Reds have gone 4-0-1 in 5 series.
They will probably lose today with Lester going but you never know. Castillo throws hard and had one of his best starts last time out.

Even if it had WORKED it was a bad use of outs, and the actual result was about the worst one possible.

When Scooter isnt crushing the ball he is tough to live with. A true defensive butcher out there who cant throw at all. Has hurt us in every game of this series.

Last two games, another dominant type reliever would have made a world of difference for the Reds.

I know it’s baseball and these things happen but most are so preventable. I hate to be this way but the smallest things in sports completely swing momentum.

Walking a back up catcher up by 3 in the 8th....then walk next sucky hitter.
