Votto is back! At least one good reason topay attention to today's game. Also Dixon at 2nd? Reeds gets an opportunity so lets see if he can take advantage.

Reds lineup: Schebler 9, Peraza 6, Votto 3, Suárez 5, Ervin 7, Casali 2, Dixon 4, Williams 8, Reed 1

Since you have been salivating over who was sent down we now have it via a Tweet from the Reds.

Preston Tucker has been optioned to Louisville. Also Austin Brice was recalled and Robert Stephenson was put on the 10 day DL for shoulder tendinitis.

For those of you keeping score at home here are both lineups for this mega matchup at 12:35 today. This game will be on the MLB Network too.

It's actually not a bad play as it increases the chances that they will make an error and everyone will be safe. Billy usually stays in the rundown long enough for the batter to get to second.

Hamilton scores every time on a grounder through the infield. He often takes off before he knows the grounder has gone past the 3B or SS. In each of those situations, the strategy pays off.

I didn't see it; so he had him cut off, but made the common mistake of not getting him on one throw by throwing it too early, allowing him Billy to reverse course and extend it and allow the batter to get to 2nd? Was the P chasing Billy to 2nd or 3rd? Either way Billy chose to go he should have been able to get him with the right timing on the first throw, and keep the batter at 1st.

Brewers have a HR in 21 straight games at GABP. Time for that streak to end.

Pathetic.... there has to be someone in AAA or AA that's better than what Rigs is having to use for bullpen help.

The pitcher did it right, ran directly at Billy. But Billy is pretty slippery.

Seems to me that Billy could have made it back to second, but chose to invite a rundown instead. Maybe I saw it wrong.

The good news: Brice is out.

The bad: Jackson Stevens in.

Oh boy. Austin Brice on the hill.

They didn't want to bring him up, he didn't warrant it, but the pitching gave up so much last night they had to get a fresh arm to have if they had to use it, and they did!

If the Reds don't pull this one out, they will be 20 games under .500. That might be the low water mark for the season.

Mercifully, we're on to the bottom of the 11th.

And Scooter dribbles the first pitch for out 1.

No sir. Not gonna stop our positive momentum with that attitude. Just remember, we held on to Harvey to solidify our rotation next year so that Raisel can save 50 games to lead us into the postseason.
Oh wait, nvm
