Scott Schebler - RF
Jose Peraza - SS
Joey Votto - 1B
Eugenio Suarez - 3B
Scooter Gennett - 2B
Phillip Ervin - LF
Tucker Barnhart - C
Luis Castillo - P
Billy Hamilton - CF

Runs could be hard to come by. Again. The Reds will be facing Jose Quintana. The portsider has an ERA of 1.84 over his last five starts. Luis Castillo goes for the Good Guys. He retired 15 in a row at one point during his last outing. Castillo catches a bit of a break in that Kyle Schwarber (from Middletown), who has taken Castillo downtown twice, is not in the lineup.

Trivia: Eugenio Suarez is the only Red to have ever taken Quintana deep.

Reds are wearing their red alternate jerseys on the road! Don't think I've ever seen that before! I like it! Not a bad look!

(Now if they would get rid of those Reds caps with black bills, and wear the all-red cap all the time!)

I think I would rather have Billy Hamilton on 1st with two outs than Luis Castillo on 2nd with two outs.

So I guess Sunday, September 16, 2018 is the date that the game thread died.

Missed Castillo's start. How did he look? The line isn't ideal, but good to see him pitch into the 7th with 1 ER.

Yeah, a last place team that's running for the bus is no match for the NFL. I'd be more inclined to watch them if it wasn't such a struggle to see them dent home plate. Having said that, it's awfully nice to see them get a win and end that losing streak to the Cubs

Wait until the Royals series next week. There may zero posts in either of those games.

Sure did hit a low point Sunday and a bounce back. Been missing the game threads lately due to life happens stuff.
