I can't remember the last time Schebler started in LF.

Reds offense not exactly making a great final push for Riggleman.

Hardly a juggernaut - a rigglenaut?

DeSclafani with 9 punch outs through 4.

If you were listening to WLW pregame they were talking about Scheb in LF and Wink in RF next year because that's where they think the Reds feel they are most comfortable.

I don't buy that, but whatever.

I can't imagine Winker is more comfortable in RF than LF, and I also can't imagine that Winker is a better RF than Schebler, unless Scott's shoulder has deteriorated significantly due to the injury in St. Louis.

Reds pitchers could strikeout 27 in a game and it wouldn't matter because they'd somehow give up 4 homeruns too.

This is the #1 problem on the Reds. Allowing home runs.

The Reds are within 6 outs of being blanked for the 5th time in the last 11 games. If that were to happen, it means they will have scored just 15 runs over that 11-game span. And that, folks, is why you never let your Finnegan become Sticky.

In Reds country we call that positive momentum!

The hitting slump is probably loss of focus, loss of edge.

Not surprising. if the season ended tonight, Reds would be averaging 92.4 losses over a five year period.

There’s still a week to go, so that average will undoubtedly get a bit worse.

Hard to play at the end of seasons when your team is a non-factor, year after year.

4 straight seasons of 90 or more losses. Feel the excitement.

90 losses for the 4th year in a row! Yay!

One more season like this and we can tie 1930-34 for most consecutive 90+ loss seasons!
