what is with this guy, and these trash lineups in LA? Kemp and Farmer should not be in the lineup. They are both terrible in the field....and not very impressive with the bat. Is this a former Dodger thing? It is not like we are returning in 1989 with Kirk Gibson on the roster!

I understand planned rests - but not sure why Suarez needs to sit today, his second rest day in 17 games. Team is 5-11 trying to avoid a sweep. Unless he’s injured.

And Puig is now hitting second. I dunno, hope it all works, but some of this stuff . . . .

Again. What analytics are the Reds using or Bell is adhering too. Or is it half that and half feel like Dusty used to do?

Does not matter if no one hits but the bullpen usage is also bizarre.

I was just about to post the same thing. They were clearly trying to trade Kemp before the season started, and they'd trade him the second they could if they got any interest from anyone.

ump has been squeezing sonny at times (even though sonny is dealing and it doesn't matter). meanwhile, every borderline pitch is going buehler's way.

plus you have the umpires allowing the dodgers to ask for a replay after 30 seconds had clearly elapsed, so i'm sure there was a ton of chirping coming from the reds' dugout. i don't blame them at all. sounds like casali was leading the charge and then bell jumped in to defend his player once the umpire warned the reds' bench.

They've made contact on 72.8% of swings, the lowest rate by the team on record.
