I feel a bit more confident about this matchup than yesterday's with Roark vs whatshisface pitching. Let's hope Babyface Luis can keep that great changeup working and with fewer BB's and the lineup can actually hit better than I can at 60 with a bad back, hip and shoulder.. Personally I like the nick, Babyface Louie.. I doubt it'll ever stick though. My wife said he looks like he belongs in 8th grade..

I'm not in love with this lineup. I understand Votto is leading off because he gets on base but he's definitely station to station, I'm just not crazy about him batting first. Dietrich is a good ballplayer but I prefer him off the bench and I also think Peraza needs to work out his slump by playing. Schebler is this years Duvall.

Slowest Reds team I can ever remember. I started watching in 74. I know most teams don't steal bases anymore. But the Reds hardly ever go first to third on a hit.
I love the stolen base. Maybe Senzel will bring some speed. Though I doubt Bell will allow him to steal much if any.

Doesn't hardly seem right for a runner to be out stealing when the tag is on the back part of the foot with the back of the glove near the wrist and the ball is insecurely in the tip of the glove and it is questionable that the glove even contacted the foot before the foot hit the back. Declined to challenge because of the weather and the quest to get a legal game in on the last date of the Braves being in town for the season!

I guess, but there is no reason to start a game with more rain on the way. The possible injuries are what I worry about a lot. Hoping for the best. It's funny, but the two sports I care most about depend on weather. Football-play in a snowstorm, but not auto racing and baseball.

The long break came at a good time for both teams. The starters had thrown 93 and 101 pitches, and the one reliever had finished his half inning with 13 pitches and had gotten three outs and stranded his 3 inherited runners. Murphy's law says that the game will get tied and the rains will come again and both teams will have to take an off day out of their schedule to meet for a single day in Cincy later in the season!

Well I see my Suddenlink channel in Marietta that I see the Reds on has reverted to the jewelry channel so my evening of watching the Reds play is over!
