That’s probably why he’s playing. Manager chooses to show his confidence rather than punishing the player. Hope it works and Peraza has a good game tonight.

Don't know. Last night, Jim Day said he asked David Bell about Kyle Farmer and catching, and Bell indicated that he was surprised that he hadn't gotten Farmer into a game behind the plate yet. I thought to myself, "Well, David, you have some control over that situation."

The worst sun field I ever experienced was at Tiger Stadium. A buddy of mine and I had tickets for a Tigers/White Sox game the final season before the Tigers moved to Comerica Park. Our seats were in foul territory in second deck of the RF corner. We missed the first four innings of the game; we were there the whole time, but we couldn't see anything until the sun set below the grandstand.

When i was taught baseball when a flyball is is foul territory you want to make sure you are standing in foul territory because if you are in fair teritory and it hits your glove and drop it it is considered fair. Because the fielder is considered fair territory when standing in fair territory even if the ball is in foul territory.

This years offense has been a huge disappointment. Last year (to me) we had one of the best offenses in the league with the likes of the Votto, Suarez and Gennett trio and the worst pitching in the league. This year it is the opposite. Billy is gone, we picked up puig and even tho we don’t have gennett back yet I still find it hard to believe that we as a team are batting in the 240’s.
