Open question to all?

I have a theory that the increase in home runs and exit velocity is due to greatly improved hand eye coordination of the players today. My explanation may sound off the wall, but I credit video games. When I played once fall came around you played football or basketball and did not pick-up a bat till February or March. Took the better part of the spring to start and get the hand eye coordination back.

Today kids have constant hand eye coordination with the various video games they play year round and from a very young age. With baseball requiring the highest level of hand eye coordination of just about all of sports, has to make a difference?

Thoughts ?

Increase in home runs is due to the ball and smaller parks, and increase in exit velocity is due to faster pitchers (which is due to, in part, not pitching as much as they used to). Video games don't do anything but keep certain kids away from sports and increase diabetes in the population generally.

All caught up to live

Great 1st inning. Not mad he sent Scooter knowing Roark was on deck BUT.... knowing how far he was from making it and baseball is all about momentum.....hold iffy groin Scooter at 3rd and let Roark bat, see 3-4 pitches. Get Davies to 44 pitches on the inning (maybe Roark gets lucky...which was the hope with sending Scooter) and start the 2nd inning exactly like he had to start the first.

Not mad, just my thought
