He is coming off a decent little injury. Scooter hasn’t been good but he’s not ever shown to be that player for the Reds so I feel there is reason to believe he can be that player again.

My elderly brother was sub teaching a few years ago at Norwell High School in little Ossian Indiana. He came over one day back then and said how appreciative he was of this basketball and baseball kid who would always take time to talk to him at school about things, especially sports of course- including an Illinois basketball scholarship that was a possibility. This kid really stood out. Name is Josh VanMeter.

My opinion on the 1967 throwbacks:

Caps: Outstanding! These are the caps that many of us grew up with, and the same caps the BRM would later make famous.

Jerseys: Good. An early prototype of the famous uniforms from the 70's, 80's, and early 90's. Not a fan of the pinstripes (makes them look like the Phillies), but it was just a one-year experiment, and they were gone in 1968.

Pants: Good. Looks like everyone is wearing their pantlegs at the proper height.

Socks: Good, but would be better if everyone was wearing stirrups.

Overall: Very good. Not a fan of the pinstripes, but they are historically accurate for 1967. An early prototype of the BRM uniforms we all have come to know and love. Probably my third favorite throwback so far, after 1956 and 1961.

to use a tennis analogy, it was on the line, but on the inside portion of the line. this is why a robot (or whatever you would call what they use in tennis) would have called that a strike every time. it was not only on the line, but on the inner side (kind of half on the line, half inside the line).
