Is Jose Iglesias unavailable? This makes back-to-back games that he hasn't been in the lineup.

I was wondering about the same thing.

I haven't read or heard anything about an injury.

I know he's not the strongest offensive player on the club, but with the skeleton crew they are running out there right now he would be a welcome addition to the lineup.

If someone told me before the year started that this would be our starting 8 on Sept 15th I would have guessed we'd have 100 losses by now.

I had high hopes for Suarez this season, but I definitely did not anticipate 46 home runs.

Jim Day looked really anxious when they brought that churro in. Like “I want to eat that but am I allowed?” Now they’re all digging in and he looks relieved

Everyone seems to be a whole lot looser and having more fun without Thom around.

Now in sole possession of second place on the HR list, one behind Alonso. Trout and Yelich done for the season, Soler and Bellinger each with 44

Is Jose Iglesias unavailable? This makes back-to-back games that he hasn't been in the lineup.

I heard David Bell on the pregame radio show saying Iglesias has tightness in his back. He said he could use Iglesias in today's game if He has to do it.

Which means he's definitely out and Bell is thinking he has fooled the DBacks.

On the road today with no radio (in and out of satellite), no TV, and I'd loved to have seen this. Reds scored 7, and the Diamondbacks 5--12 runs scored in three games! Pitching was awesome. Yeah, let's put Luis and Disco on the trade market and DFA Bauer-NOT. The alarming part is the offense. Aquino and Van Meter apparently has been found out and how to pitch them. Same with Ervin and Lorenzen. Barnhart, Peraza, and O'Grady just cannot hit. But, oh that pitching!

The rate Suarez is hitting them out he may just catch Lee May this season. Just a phenomenal year for him.

Bauer was very good today. He's a solid two or three starter. He makes the Reds rotation very solid going into next season.

Good series win against the fading D'Backs. On to Chicago to ruin their playoff hopes. :)
