It seems like a good time to look towards this hopeful revitalization of the organization. This past decade certainly had some positive moments, but was mostly disappointing. I like how the front office seems committed to improving the club. Over the past couple of seasons we've seen some major changes from how the Reds have always done business in the past.
*Lured away two well respected coaches for Bell (Ward didn't work out but it was a break from the norm regardless)
*Gone much more analytical (including the Boddy hire)
*Aggressive in trades and FA
It remains to be seen how all of this plays out, but I'm the most positive about the upcoming season as I have been in at least 5 years.
I hope the Reds and all of us have a happy new year!
