Which master (no pun intended!) will CBS bow to - the NFL or Augusta?

The problem they are going to run into is nature. Sunset on November 15 in Augusta, GA is 5:25 p.m. Usually the leaders finish much later. So everybody is going to have to triple up and start a couple of hours earlier. But if they finish at sunset, it's going to be tough to show a full NFL game that starts at 1:00 and actually do a golf telecast immediately after with the sun going down an hour later. They could move it up a day and play the final round on Saturday but you're running into college football.

Start the final round early and finish by 4:00ish. Move all NFL games on CBS that Sunday to 4:30pm.
I wonder if it will be on another network.

If CBS can get a Falcons night game swap with NBC that Sunday, we could just have Nantz and Romo do both.

Maybe CBS Sports Net.

So they go from a Spring event to a Fall event. I LOVE this move. Can you imagine what the course will look like when it's peak color on those trees at Augusta?

I was thinking about that. Might have to get a little lucky given that November date, and we haven't been getting a lot of luck recently, so maybe we're due.

I actually googled "Peak Fall in Georgia" to see. It happens to be late October and early November. I think they purposely picked this date so late.

Maybe there will be an all-indoor World Series at the same time.
