Yes, Bauer can remain a dominant pitcher, even if his velocity is down.

Doesn't change the fact that it he and the Reds took notice of it.

In this shortened season with no real spring training, signifcant pitcher injuries, etc, you don't take chances. Instead, be smart and protect your biggest assets.

exactly.. most of us , when we are at work, we are very careful what we say.. you never know who might be listening.
The fact that he felt so comfortable in the radio booth that he would have a rant like that is a huge problem.
Just like his dad, he felt he had a lifetime job with the Reds, no matter what he did.
His dad was not as stupid, but abused his job security too.

Trevor Bauer has 41 strikeouts through his first 4 starts this season. The only NL pitchers with more were Randy Johnson (44 in 1999, 42 in 2000) and Steve Carlton (42 in 1983).
