I strongly disliked the broadcast overall, but I did like the play by play guy, whoever that was. It was AJ Pierzynski and the Fox booth that was the problem.

I didn’t care for them all that much, but with Bauer, I think they were trying to balance out the two sides, the dominating Cy Young contender and the king of social media flaky bad boy. He obviously didn’t want to hear about that.

Really disappointed in the @MLBONFOX
broadcast. Seems like they’r trying to bring down @BauerOutage because of things he’s done. Unless you’ve spent time around him or the @Reds, you really have NO IDEA! I can tell you, this dude would pitch everyday if he could!


Just love how SOME announcers doing “National TV” games come in and just talk like they know about the teams, their personalities, etc. In reality, they only know what they read. Especially the negative stuff they read. ����*♂️ Do your homework please!

Terrible. I don't know if it was AJ or the other guy but they kept reciting stats of the whole year and didn't really focus on the recent win streak that the Reds just accomplished.

Love the - "tell TA he is soft for not bat flipping" and the "put that one up on his YouTube channel" - never really know what kind of trash talk is going to go between those two. But it wouldn't surprise me a bit if TB doesn't put it up on his channel, he is very humble about that stuff.

Good fun for both of them and nice of TB to stand up for Cincy.

We usually listen to music while watching the Reds especially on Friday and Saturday’s at the campground or in the garage at the house. Don’t need an announcer to tell us what is going on. Don’t have to worry how good or bad the announcers are.

That broadcast really turned me off as well. I didn't expect Fox announcers to gush over the Reds but the tone, repetition, and just a general apparent lack of in-depth research really drove me away. It was a bummer too, because I had been looking forward to watching this game on my patio outside in this great weather, but I just moved back to the campfire ring and listened on radio. My streamed TV broadcast and streamed radio broadcast don't sync up. Once I located the game on tv, my first thought was "who are these jokers" and "are they mad they have to broadcast the Reds?" But to be fair, I didn't listen that long because what I did hear drove me away. Maybe they were fine the rest of the time.:dunno:
