No Senzel again. Starting to look like maybe he won't be starting on opening day.

Today's game is supposed to only go 7 innings

Nick Senzel is facing pitchers in a live BP setting at the #Reds complex today. He seems likely to return to the lineup tomorrow.

Whenever I hear Corbin Burnes, I think

Moose has had an awful spring and castellanos is cold again. Super streaky hitters.

3 run homer from Avisail Garcia. Hoffman ain’t it.

I bet that HR had an awesome spin rate!

Not too many seasons have passed when Hoffman would have been considered Opening Day material. Fortunately, those days have passed.

Yeesh Hoffman...his days in the rotation are gonna be scary.

If it’s going to be a bullpen day when Hoffman starts anyway, let’s just start Antone for 2 or 3 innings and let Hoffman relieve

With a loss today the Reds clinch the worst record in spring training. Doesn’t get anything but more years of David Shula...oops I mean David Bell

Clearly the Reds didn’t show up today. Hard to understand how they aren’t embarrassed with today and how this spring has gone. Have some pride.

It's going to be a loooooooong season with this pitching.

It’s a spring training game. Emphasis on “training”. It’s practice. They showed up to practice.

It wouldn't bother me to see Doolittle gone.

All true. But I can’t help but wish they’d practice winning.

I get that, but they have shown some glaring issues mainly with their pitching depth throughout spring. That’s clearly gonna be a problem during a 162 game season.

That’s accurate. But that’s different from them “not showing up.” They are practicing. Now, if they don’t show up starting Thursday, they deserve all the criticism sent their way.

Fair. Should of said more specifically that the pitching didn’t show up. Burnes is carving up the hitters but that dude is good.

These may be practice games for the pitchers - but the lineups will be tougher in the regular season. And the hitters will be more focused too. So at some point a little performance might help - beyond the few very solid staff members who usually do well.

Some of these guys should be given limited time to get going.

Garrett allows his first balls in play of the spring.

A grounder to Suarez that he fields well, then...

A grounder to Suarez that he throws away for an error.

Doolittle did little. Bell says he might be a closer.

Crazy but I’m more worried about his 50% K rate this spring.

Thinking Naquin sealed his spot homering off of Burnes there. It was the Reds first hit too.
