I'll be 45 and while I have my days and don't exercise that much, this is pretty true. I move around fine, occasionally have the young man agility and reflexes, and never (or rarely) act my age. I guess that's a good and bad thing.

Where I work and what I do, it actually involves moving pretty much all day so I guess that's my exercise so to speak. Was mockingly spelling out YMCA as the store was playing the song with a dolly handle and a 20 year old was like, "You're not a young man though." I said, "Sure I am." Because in my mind I am and I probably have better days than he does and he's not overweight or out of shape. He's kind of a beanpole actually.

Never got it checked out because only worked part time when it happened and it was more of an annoyance that cleared up than something I was super worried or concerned about. Every so often though, kind of out of nowhere if I over exert or twist a certain way it will flare up. But it lasts for a day or two and then kind of clears up again.

I generally prefer the wishbone C too, but I think a script uni could be a cool new twist occasionally, if they actually used a more retro/historic looking script style than the ugly one they have now based on these 2006 era jersey lettering with the drop shadow.

Like if the rest of the uniform had some vintage vibes to it, like maybe based on one of the late 60s jerseys with that kind numbering style and a minimalist looking wishbone C on the sleeve with the appropriate font for the script, that might actually be kinda cool.

But these batting practice jerseys suck.

The Cardinals have pretty much always had a script font -- usually "Cardinals", but also "St. Louis" on their 1930 World Series uniforms and their 1931 & '32 home and aways, which their current alternate is a faux throwback of.

The Brewers have a long history of a script "Milwaukee" on their powder blue road jerseys from the 80's, as well as a different script "Brewers" on their home jerseys in the 90's and 21st century.

The Pirates don't have a long history of script fonts, but they had a script "Pittsburgh" on their road jerseys from their highly successful clubs from the early 90's.

The Reds never used a script design except on a very forgettable alternate jersey from 1936 and 1937 -- this is the script that the current alternate script is based on.

Oh yeah I forgot about that 36-37 jersey.

I was speaking more in terms of a faux throwback thing too, rather than using an existing design. Mixing and matching that 30s script logo with our dated mid 2000s jersey numbers and name plates just doesn’t work imo.

Stadium itself was fine, but my experience was ruined by the fact that throughout the entire game they would not allow you to move to a seat other than your ticketed seat. Of all the ballparks I've been in, both MLB and minor leagues, this was the only place that you couldn't move freely about the stadium. I enjoy checking out the vantage point from different sections and levels, but ushers there, up until the final out were not allowing it. Definitely made a negative impression on me.
