Yeah, I agree. Think that would be the best thing for everyone. I just can't imagine this is good for him at all. He has to know he is a massive disappointment costing the team. Probably to some extent, but I would guess there’s more going on with Yelich. He was still a pretty good hitter if not an MVP one in Miami, consistently pretty good average and slugging. He was a 4-5 win guy even as a Marlin.

The whole point of it is that Akiyama has been a horrible decision and I'm sure somewhere in the front office they are thinking " damn we got hosed on this deal and we are paying this other random guy to be with the team" . Even in the biggest businesses in the world they worry about even the little stuff.
