My first trip was in 1982 (I think, potentially 83) with the Cub Scouts..I was 7 or 8 and we were in Red seats back the Cardinals….I think we won 10-0 or 10-1 but what I do remember is for some reason I was allowed to get concessions but got turned around and lost and each tunnel I went through to get back to my section looked the same and I couldn’t find my group. Eventually a large cop helped me get my way back.

My first trip was in 1982 (I think, potentially 83) with the Cub Scouts..I was 7 or 8 and we were in Red seats back the Cardinals….I think we won 10-0 or 10-1 but what I do remember is for some reason I was allowed to get concessions but got turned around and lost and each tunnel I went through to get back to my section looked the same and I couldn’t find my group. Eventually a large cop helped me get my way back.

think mine was '86.....I recall Rose was doing the player/manager thing and did not play in either of the games I attended that weekend.....which to me at the time was the entire reason to go

My favorite classic Eric Milton moment actually came against the Mets. It was a game he started, I believe in 2006, where Milton had either 5-6 innings in the bag with a quality start but Narron, pretty much rightly, didn’t trust the bullpen. So Milton loads up the bases with Carlos Beltran coming up and they go out and talk to him and he’s sweating bullets and they make the call to leave him in to get just this ONE more batter. And of course Beltran hits a grand slam just about to New Jersey and that was the ballgame.
