And I agree but they choked after the as break. The cast injury was too big to overcome at the time before Vottos streak. Reds have a better offense while they have better pitching and certainly much better bullpen. They are going to be dangerous in the playoffs.

I’d argue that Hoffman stays because he can eat multi-innings. Even make an emergency start. But I see the argument for Hembree staying.

Sounds like we may not see Senzel for a while. Can they stretch it out till Sept? If he does make it back this month. They will cut two more pitchers I believe. Probably comes down to who pitches best now between Doolittle, Hoffman and Hembree. I think Hembree would have to really bomb though.
