I don’t understand the hate for interleague. It just doesn’t bother me. I like the way they rotate. NFL has been doing it like that between the NFC/AFC.

Its only 10% of the season. And outside of the “rival” series, your division play the same teams.

Now if your arguement is that it hurts playoff chances (wild card) by playing a tougher AL division than your other NL competitors, then that might have some merit. But its all cyclical. This year the Cards, Cubs, Pirates are all down and the Reds are beneficiaries of that. If the Padres don’t make it they can make the argument that the Reds had a much softer intradivision schedule.

Besides, interleague is a absolute requirement if you keep 15 team leagues. How do propose fixing that? Are you good with having a 5 of 16 shot vs a 5 of 15 shot at the playoffs when the Astros were in the NL?

I can definitely understand your thinking. Of course, I grew up accustomed to watching four and five hour games. I went to a DH once that lasted 9 hrs. (First game went 16 or 18 innings) I could watch(or listen) to baseball all day.
